"Home is an invention on which no one has yet improved."
Solid, dependable, friendly, knowledgable, casual and easy... these are words that have been used to describe me in my business and personal life.
After eight years in traditional banking, I moved to Dallas and started working in mortgage lending, specializing in government loan programs. At almost five successful years there, I decided to try my hand at being self employed and got my real estate license. I went to work as an apartment locator and quickly made contacts in the relocation business during a time when the dot com boom was bringing so many young successful people to Dallas. I was fortunate to stay in touch with a lot of them and as they started buying, it was a natural progression to move into sales. The apartment locating business was a great introduction to the world of real estate and I'm glad to be able to help my clients with both of these needs for different seasons of their lives.
I have always been concerned about my community and the environment. I believe we should invest in and protect it, so the GREEN movement has been a great expression of my core beliefs. I've been recycling, using renewable energy sources, composting and driving a hybrid vehicle since any of that was available. In 2010, I made the commitment to being GREEN in my real estate business as well and earned NAR's Green Designation. I'm still learning as the industry develops, but this is more than a fashionable statement for me - I truly have been passionate about living and advocating this lifestyle.
Because I'm an independent broker, I have the flexibility and focus to assist my clients and customers in the way they feel most comfortable. Because I'm a boutique firm, I can give each client as much time and information as they need. I follow closely the tenets of fiduciary duty, but I can be more creative as well as invested in each transaction and this has proven to be successful for me as well as those who work with me.
Let me know how I can help YOU in your real estate transaction!
